In an innovative attempt to beat the scare of the COVID-19, a team of students and faculty members in the Electronics and Communication Engineering department at Vaagdevi College of Engineering, Warangal have developed an extremely low cost, durable and contactless sanitizer dispenser.
The students, just in their II year of the program, BH. Pavan Raja and J. Upender, along with faculty members Dr. Nishu Gupta, Assistant Professor, who is also leading the Institute Innovation Cell monitored by MHRD-IIC, Govt. of India and Mr. M. Shashidhar, Associate Professor, and lab assistant Mr. B. Sudhakar have prepared and demonstrated the working model to the Principal Dr. K. Prakash and have received high appreciation. Also management members have appreciated the team.
The Principal has advised them to file patent and work further on technology transfer. Further details will be made available as per the management’s permission.
