Central Library

Central Library at Vaagdevi College of Engineering is an abode of knowledge with unlimited resources for faculty & students to study. We have introduced the CAMS software developed locally customising it suitably to meet the needs of the library from the year 2016-17, which has been successfully utilised by the clientele. The software has been developed using the ASP.NET version. As far as automation is concerned, we could do it partially, and efforts are on to fully automate the library, up till the year 2015-2016, the library was maintained manually. We have also established a Digital Library in the year 2013 with adequate Systems in a separate Hall to provide access to Internet E-Resources. Later during the year 2017-2018, we have extended the automated services to the Circulation Section successfully and developed OPAC for the users.

Over the years with many updates we have transformed our library into inspiring learning space you expect from best engineering colleges with extensive collections and our support for teaching, learning and research. We hold over hundreds of print books and journals in our library including our electronic collection of ebooks and e-journals.
